Eco tyre label

The concern for the sustainability of our planet is ever-increasing at a global level. In the case of tyre manufacturing, this concern is reflected in different regulations that are being developed in several countries with the purpose of cutting CO2 emissions.

These regulations are targeted towards identifying in one label the most relevant energy-related aspects of each tyre for the consumer to compare and make a well-informed choice when purchasing.

Compliance with some of these regulations is already compulsory in certain areas, such as Europe and Korea. In other countries, such as the US, Brazil or Japan, labelling guidelines exist but they are not mandatory yet.
